The beach here is golden, and for those feeling adventurous, at the northern end of the island is a tiny white building that is a base for snorkelling in some of the most amazing underwater vistas in Melanesia. From there, the cruise moves on to Port Vila in Vanuatu, where the locals are friendly and the markets are just waiting to be perused. get amongst it! The last stop before returning to Sydney will knock everyone's socks off- the idyllic Champagne Bay. This beautiful spot is well-known amongst cruisers for it's sweep of white sand, freshwater spring (which produces the 'champagne' bubbles) and beach sports that P&O regularly puts on here.
